Monday, 27 November 2023, Directorate of Research Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcome a visit from LPPM (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) of Universitas Andalas (UNAND) led by Dr. -Ing. Ir. Uyung Gatot S. Dinata, M.T. as the Head of LPPM UNAND. During the visit and meeting held in Multimedia II Room, UGM Central Building, Dr. -Ing. Ir. Uyung Gatot S. Dinata, M.T., assisted by the Office Head, Head of Partnership Division, and Head of General Affair Division of LPPM UNAND. The purpose of the visit was to observe the administrative management associated with research activities and the strategies employed by the Directorate of Research in overseeing SINTA. Additionally, the visit aimed to explore potential partnership opportunities. The director of research UGM, Prof. Dr. Mirwan Ushada, STP. M.App.Life.Sc. warmly welcomed the visit, accompanied by the secretary of the directorate of research, Prof. drg. Diatri Nari Ratih, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.KG(K)., the head of research program division, Dr. Ririn Tri Nurhayati, S.IP., M.Si., M.A., the head of publication and intellectual property division, Ratih Fitria Putri, S.Si., M.Sc., PhD., and coordinators.
On her presentation, Prof. drg. Diatri Nari Ratih, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.KG(K) urged that UGM has composed five research flagship programs that are prospective for collaboration with other academic institutions, including UNAND. Five flagship programs mentioned are: 1) Food Sovereignty, 2) Medicine Raw Materials and Medical Device Independence, 3) Energy Transition, 4) Climate Change and Environment Adaptation, and 5) the Reliability of Socio-cultural of the Society. Arief Sudarsono, S.T., M.Eng., as the Head of Science Park and Technology Division of Directorate of Business Development also delivered his presentation on several programs related to UGM Science Techno Park, including facilities provided at UGM Science Techno Park. The visit was ended by the explanation on incentives and awards in the Directorate of Research UGM.
