Activity Theme

 Young Lecturer Researcher Capacity Building grant (Hibah Peningkatan Kapasitas Dosen Muda) give a freedom for young lecturers/researchers choose the research theme to be carried out, referring to 10 excellent fields:

  1. Food security and safety;
  2. New and renewable energy;
  3. Disaster and environmental management;
  4. Health, tropical diseases, nutrition and medicine;
  5. Socio-culture and peace;
  6. Democracy and good governance;
  7. Infrastructure;
  8. Intelligent system;
  9. Nano technology; and
  10. Maritime.

Lecturers/researchers should also pay attention to the relevance of the themes to be studied with UGM research priorities (Handling vulnerable communities; Saving critical environments; Strengthening and utilizing local culture; Strengthening national sovereignty) which has been determined by the UGM Academic Senate Research Committee in 2010.

Output

  1. In addition to the final report, the expected outputs of this research program are: Manuscripts for publication of accredited national/international scientific journals or;
  2. Seminar paper (oral or poster).

Schedule of activities

The Young Lecturer Researcher Capacity Building grant program is designed to be implemented for seven months, starting from April to October 2016. Details of the implementation schedule can be seen in the following table.
