IIRF 7 Year 2015

The Indonesian Industry Research Forum event in 2015 takes the theme of UGM Contribution Acceleration for Strengthening National Competitiveness through Manufacturing Industry, Infrastructure and Information Technology. These three areas play an important role in solving national problems that hamper economic progress and increase welfare. IIRF 2015 activity was held on 05 November 2015 at Auditorium UGM Campus Jakarta. Minister of Public Works and People’s Housing became the keynote speech of the event. Main speech sessions from industry; filled by Mr. Hardi Joewono PT. Dutacipta Pakarperkasa, Ir. Budi Suwanda, MT. (R & D Manager of PT Pembangunan Perumahan, Tbk) and Mr. Sjamsudin Ali PT. Tata Sarana Mandiri. The event was then followed by the presentation of Policy Brief of UGM “Development of Infrastructure in National Water Resources Management” by Ir. Rachmad Jayadi, M. Eng., Ph.D accompanied by Prof. Ir. Joko Sujono, M. Eng., Ph.D. The event was also presented symbolically White Paper on Water Resources from UGM Rector to the Minister of Public Works and People’s Housing which is a form of UGM concentration in addressing water-related conditions in Indonesia.

IIRF 6 Year 2014

The 6th IIRF 2014 series begins with UGM Working Group Workshop on June 19, 2014 at UGM Energy Studies Center, energy business meeting on June 25, 2014 in Jakarta, followed by a series of energy group discussion in June – October 2014. The peak of IIRF 6 on 05 November 2014, starting with the energy business meeting event on 04 November 2014 at Medco Building, Jakarta. Furthermore, the peak event was opened by the Vice Rector for Research and Community Service UGM, Prof. Dr. Suratman, M.Sc. As the keynote speech at the event, the Directorate General of New Energy, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ir. Rida Mulyana, M.Sc. Main speech sessions from industry; filled by Arman Widhymarmanto, VP Research and Technology PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, Andi Nugraha Director of PT WIKA Industri Energi, Arief Harsono CEO PT. Samator Group, Martinus PT. Prosympac and Edi Setijawan Deputy Director of Indonesian Banking Architecture OJK.

IIRF 5 Year 2013

The Indonesian Industrial Research Forum (IIRF) 2013 will be held on 21 November 2013 at UGM Campus Jakarta. The event took the theme of “Optimizing Local Resources Towards Food Sovereignty”. The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Pratikno M.Soc.Sc. In a series of events, each UGM researcher presented his research results starting from Dr. Ir. Budi S Daryono about Gama Melon, Dr. Muh. Nur Cahyanto on Lactic Acid Bacteria, Prof. Eni Harmayani about Gama Prebiotic Cookies, Dr. Nurliyani about Kefir Susu and Prof. Cahyono Agus on KP4 UGM Products. Four companies also cooperate with UGM, namely PT. Teguhsindo Larasitama, PT. Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, PT. Kibar Kreasi Indonesia and Damandir with the signing of MoU by each company director together with UGM Rector. Also present was Vice Minister of Trade, Dr. Bayu Krisnamuthi as Closing Remarks in IIRF 2013 event.

IIRF 4 Year 2012

The 4th IIRF 2012 event held at UGM Auditorium Jakarta Campus was attended by Minister of State Owned Enterprises Dahlan Iskan and several BUMN Directors. With the theme: Innovation and Research Results UGM for National Industry Strengthening. is a form of UGM’s participation in responding to the challenge of free trade and increasingly rapid globalization, in which the Indonesian nation must be supported by innovative industry research in processing and developing local potential both human and natural resources for the sake of the people’s welfare. The event was also attended by UGM research partners from industries such as PT. Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia, PT. Indo Farma, PT. Bank Mandiri, Bulog, PT. Hutama Karya, PT. ASKES, PT. Pertani, Perum Jasa Tirta I, PT. Sang Hyang Seri, PT. Wijaya Karya, Perum Jasa Tirta II, PT. Dirgantara Indonesia, PT. ASDP Indonesia Fery, Perum Infrastructure of Fishery Samudera, PT. PN XII, PT. Jasa Raharja and PT. Indra Karya.

IIRF 4 Year 2011

On 3rd IIRF 2011, UGM plans to disseminate the 1st and 2nd IIRF experiences to other universities as well as to make them the organizing partners. It is expected that through IIRF, industrial research cooperation becomes a national issue that gets maximum support from industry and government. The event was held on 30 November 2011 at UGM Campus Jakarta, with the theme “National Health Industry Independence: Challenges and Opportunities for Research Universities.” The event was opened by UGM Rector Prof. Sudjarwadi, supported by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Education and Culture, KADIN, PT. Kimia Farma Tbk. And PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk. Time for Indonesia to host in his own country. Prof. Iwan Dwiprahasto and Dr. Erna Kristin as coordinator of health and medicine research at UGM said that although the stages to be end product is still relatively long, UGM research result shows that natural materials can be prepared to be useful raw material of medicine. Chairman of LPPM UGM, Prof. Danang Parikesit as the organizer of the event conveyed the theme raised at IIRF now in order to respond to the strategic issues of national development.

 

IIRF 4 Year 2010

The 2nd IIRF 2010 event was held at the Grand Hyatt on December 1, 2010 with the involvement of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education as the organizing partner, supported by the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Health and the State Ministry of Research and Technology. In addition, it also involves the industry through KADIN. JICA provides full support in 2nd IIRF 2010 activities as a follow up of HiLink (Higher Education Institutions through University-Industry-Community Links) held at UGM in 2006 – 2009. Enrichment program in UIC (University-Industry-Community) cooperation pattern has been perceived benefits by industry research stakeholders in Indonesia. Participants who are very appreciative of this kind of forum and hope continue to be held in the future by further sharpening the focus and format of activities so that the components in the pattern of cooperation PENTA HELIX can maximally contribute.

IIRF 4 Year 2009

The first Indonesian Industry Research Forum (IIRF) involved approximately 80 researchers and 60 industrial partners spread across 6 (six) industrial sectors: Food Resilience, Health and Medicine, New and Renewable Energy Resources, Transportation Technology and Management, Information Technology and Communications, as well as Defense and Security Technology. In the 1st IIRF 2009, 4 (four) Ministries namely Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Research and Technology joined the event. 1st IIRF 2009 has inspired various parties to realize the importance of industrial research cooperation to strengthen national industry through increasing competitiveness.
